Penn State Health’s award winning Learning and Leadership Development team is seeking out flexible Training Specialists to facilitate training on a per diem basis during normal business hours.

The Training Specialist will be a resource to the HR Learning and Leadership Development team. The purpose of this position is to have a Trainer available to facilitate live, in person, or virtual, workshops on various professional development content, as needed. This position would be called upon to deliver workshopsto an audience for specific content has already been developed.

The courses the training position would deliver will include, but are not limited to:

Foundations of Leadership

Crucial Conversations

Behavioral EQ

DISC

Social Style – Improving Personal Effectiveness with Versatility

Unlocking Personal Agility

Adaptive Mindset for Resiliency

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to leaddynamic workshops and implement a variety of instructional delivery methods that include group or individualized instruction, that help participants make learning gains on various professional development topics, and ensure curriculum fidelity by facilitating the content as designed.

The Training Specialist will also aid in on-going program development, stay current with curriculum updates and will create and manage workshop information in the LMS, such as rosters, attendance records, creating and closing courses as needed, as well as pre and post email communications and course evaluations.

M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

2years of experience in delivering adult education training required

Experienced in adult learning techniques

Demonstrated proficiency in effective instruction required

P REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree

Adult Education certification
