Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is offering an exciting opportunity for a primary care researcher . The Department of Family and Community Medicine, Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA seeks applicants for a clinical faculty researcher. The Department has research expertise in Cancer Prevention and Early Detection; Health Services Research; Clinical Trials; Practice Transformation; Chronic Disease; Pain and Addiction.

We promote a collaborative clinical research environment. The ideal candidate must have experience writing grant proposals, designing and conducting research projects, including clinical trials, developing research methodology, data collection and management, generation and interpretation of analytic reports; and implementation of quality control measures.

The candidate must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (both oral and written) skills.

This position is a tenure-track faculty position.

What we're seeking:

  • MD, DO, PhD, PsyD, or foreign equivalent

  • Completion of accredited training program

  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania

  • BC/BE in family medicine

  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates

  • Demonstrated primary care/interdisciplinary research experience
