SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Palliative Medicine at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine (Hershey, PA) seeks an Inpatient Palliative Care Physician Assistant. The successful candidate will join a well-established inpatient interdisciplinary consult team. The team enjoys flexible scheduling, strong institutional relationships and opportunities for continued growth. Collaborating physicians are Board Certified in Hospice & Palliative medicine.
You will provide inpatient consultation including symptom management and establishing goals of care.
Opportunities for inter-professional teaching and learning.
Experience caring for adults with serious illness is preferred.
Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
Relevant experience preferred.
