SUMMARY OF POSITION :
We are seeking an advance practice provider to work with our diagnostic cardiology team in inpatient setting (with possible outpatient sessions in future). Physician assistant will work under supervision of a physician within their scope of practice. Duties will include taking medical histories, implement diagnostic testing, physical examination, coordination-of-care, and therapeutic tasks in the sphere of decision-making required to establish a diagnosis and to develop a treatment plan.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Relevant experience preferred.
