SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The part time position will provide care to pediatric hematology-oncology patients. This position will require the candidate to develop competency in both outpatient and inpatient management of patients as well as procedures such as bone marrow aspirate/biopsy and lumbar puncture with intrathecal chemotherapy administration. Training and orientation will be provided. The successful candidate will be committed to superior patient care, have excellent communication skills, and have demonstrated success in working in a multidisciplinary team. Experience in pediatric hematology-oncology is preferred but not required. Position is currently a day shift Monday – Friday, but this could change based on the needs of the division.
Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
- Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred.
