An opportunity exists for a Manager of Supply Chain in Operating Room/Procedural areas and OR Materials Management at Penn State Health - Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The manager will manage and direct departmental operations and personnel within the OR/Procedural area’s supply chain teams to align with the organizational strategic goals and imperatives. They will analyze and supervise the flow of product within defined storerooms, operating rooms, and procedural areas, to include in-and-outbound freight and deliveries, replenishment of inventory, maintaining a qualify-controlled environment, and ensuring prompt delivery to the customer. This manager plays a key role in the success of our supply chain process and operating room success. This is a full-time, exempt, day shift position. Relocation funds are authorized for this position.
T HE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (four years)
Seven years of effective experience in a similar environment
Five years’ of experience in supply chain management
Four years’ of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Professional certification (CRMP) or ability to acquire within six months of hire
Haz Mat certification or ability to acquire within six months of hire
Master’s degree in business or supply chain management
Logistics and materials experience in healthcare
Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous process improvement knowledge/experience
Experience in warehousing and 3PL
