SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for supporting the Quality and IT needs of the department to include the coordination of IT projects, maintenance of the departmental and QAPI websites, transplant database/UNET/EMR/policy database/quality database maintenance and administrative support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Obtains, maintains, audits and revokes internal user access to departmental databases such as EMR, transplant database, UNET, quality database.
Obtains, maintains, audits and revokes external user access for all databases and applications relevant to the transplant.
Maintains EMR power plans, order sets, documentation as directed by clinical leadership and in collaboration with IS.
Submits all IS tickets on behalf of our department to third party vendors and facilitates and communicates system upgrades.
Maintains websites pertinent to the transplant department. •Builds, executes and presents reports on transplant outcomes.
Provides onboarding education of transplant database and policy database to the clinical teams.
Facilitate upload and approval process of department policies within the policy database. Monitor compliance with acknowledging finalized policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Two (2) years of related experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong computer skills required.
Strong communication and organizational skills required.
Project Management, Proficiency with Microsoft products and Adobe
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of medical terminology required
