JOB SUMMARY:

The Housekeeping associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the Medical Center. This position not only requires a skillset in sanitation and infection control, but also customer service experience to ensure that our patients and visitors have an exceptional experience during their time at Penn State Health.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED required.

1 month job related experience preferred.

Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple verbal and written instructions, add and subtract required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

Able to stand constantly; walk frequently; sit occasionally.

Able to lift/carry 0-10 frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.

Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-35 lbs occasionally.

Able to climb occasionally; reach frequently.

Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
