J OB SUMMARY:
Responsible to the Program Coordinator of Echocardiography for the performance of cardiac ultrasound studies used in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.
M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a formal 2-4 year Echocardiography Program or 1-2 years echo lab experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a laboratory that routinely handles high volume and/or complex cardiovascular disease (1 year experience will be accepted if candidate possesses ARDMS or CCI registry in Adult Echocardiography.)
BLS and ACLS certification and ARDMS or CCI registry in Adult Echocardiography required.
Able to sit/walk frequently; stand occasionally.
Able to lift 0-10 lbs constantly; 11-50 lbs occasionally.
Able to carry 0-10 lbs frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.
Able to push 0-10 lbs constantly; 11-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
Able to pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
