SUMMARY OF POSITION :
Responsible to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be ARDMS or CCI registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered within one (1) year of start date.
Must obtain BLS certification within 6 months from hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Pediatrics experience preferred for Pediatric Echocardiography and non-academic setting.
TEE experience preferred for non-academic setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
Able to sit/walk frequently; stand occasionally.
Able to lift 0-10 lbs constantly; 11-50 lbs occasionally.
Able to carry 0-10 lbs frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.
Able to push 0-10 lbs constantly; 11-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
Able to pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
