The purpose of this position is to provide support to the faculty, fellows, nurses and other clinical employees of the Infectious Disease division of the Department of Medicine, and to provide support to the program coordinator of the Ryan White Grant under the Health Resources & Services Administration for HIV Comprehensive Care. In addition to the necessary administrative work for the office of Infectious Disease, this position also supports the clinical care given to outpatients through prompt communication via phone and letter, scheduling, and data maintenance.


High School Diploma or GED required.

Post high school education or equivalent experience, plus at least 2 years of related experience required.

Proficient skill level of office software and computers, with strong application of general office support functions required.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to coordinate and be accountable for multiple tasks required.

High level of confidentiality required.

Preferred Microsoft Proficiency Level: Word: Intermediate; Excel: Basic; PowerPoint: Intermediate.
