SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Director for Ambulatory Systems, Education, and Template Management this position is responsible for creating, organizing, and coordinating educational and training activities associated with onboarding all Penn State Health Medical Group (PSHMG) – Community Practice Division physicians and staff. Following PSHMG standards for New Employee Orientation, clinical and/or technical requirements, and other associated training, the Coordinator, Education and Training Services will, among other activities, create orientation schedules, coordinate with content experts for instructor-led and online training, ensure all role-specific orientation requirements are met, administer level 1 assessments, and continuously improve programming as needed. Responsibilities also include the appropriate and efficient utilization of resources, capital, and operational budget items associated with staff education and training programs in the assigned region.

Associates Degree required.
One year or more of training or related experience required.
Or a combination of education and/or experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Project Management skillset
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to organize materials in a cohesive presentation
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Power Point/Word
Project Management Experience
Experience with onboarding/orientation program
